Clean Slate by 2008

In case you're wondering and interested I started a Ravelry KAL for Clean Slate by 2008....
ANd I'm happy to report that I am one row and one collar bind off and some buttons from having one of my WIP's done.  I'll post pictures once I have the buttons for it. Now what's next?

Happy Halloween/Happy Birthday DH! /Clean Slate 2008

Happy Halloween! Each year Halloween brings hubby's b-day. This year he turns 40. No pictures of the guy because he is very camera shy. We've been married 11 years. We have one family photo. DD was 1. She is now 8. Need I say more?

Over at Knit Once, Purl Forever the need to cast on is brewing. With that, the need to get current WIP's off of the needles. So the polling for a new KAL/FAL is in the works. CLEAN SLATE BY 2008. It may not take off but I am following the mantra. So for you viewing pleasure: My submissions.
1. This big picture- Looks daunting

2.Ashley's pullover. Lacking the upper front (need to split for the zipper) and sleeves.

3.The most recent picutre of Cable Luxe. Half way through with sleeve 2 and front and back still to go.

4. Niece # 2's Christmas Present. 2 more of these to go in different colors and sizes. They're not WIP's but they need to be done before Christmas.

5. Hubby's Sweater. This is just the back. The rest is to come. I would like to have this one done for Christmas actually.

6. Adrienne Vittadini Cables Pullover- 2 years old and only the back is done. I love this sweater. I have no idea why I haven't finished it. Oh yeah... I cast on for all of these other things and then some!

7. Last but not least (and the most recent cast on item) Patons Cabled Vest

9. The frog pond. There were a number (5) that were not far enough along and dear enough to my heart to actually try and finish.

So count me insane, unrealistic but MAYBE I can do it. It's only 9 sweaters in various stages of progress that I need to finish. And only 4 of them for Christmas.

Please excuse my while I go knit. Actually I need to fold some laundry and pick up all of the projects I just spread out on the floor for my little photo shoot. So I'm off for now. Happy Trick or Treating!

Yeah! Got my invite. Ready to go. My name on there is yesiknit (imagine that) I still show 212 people ahead of me but I'm sure there are different servers housing different databases or something like that and I'm sure there's some replication involved too. (I'm an IT geek). So I'm gonna give it a few minutes and see where it goes and then we'll all know. So I'm off to Ravelry land for the night.

8 going on 18 (or 8 ft under) & Rantsy

so how many times have you been Rantsy (that's Ravelry & ANTSY incase it's been a long day for you too and not RANTSY like all you want to is rant about something) today? I think I've clicked on the find me link about 100 times so far. Please one more release today please Jess Please? I'll send Bob a bone or whatever else he likes to  chew on. As long as it's not yarn. That would be wrong. Very wrong.

So the 8 year old asked if she could go to the other side of the neighborhood. In the rain. On her scooter. To some girls' house I don't like. I told her and her little friend NO. She went anyway. She got her butt spanked. She got her TV taken away. She got her stuffed animals and books taken away.

So Mom- how'd you put up with me? and not kill me. I'm still pissed. She'll be on her bed with NOTHING for awhile. That's all I can do. Or go buy dry wall repair patches. But then I couldn't knit. Or click on the Antsy link for Ravelry all night until it says there is no one ahead of me in line.

Actually does anyone know what it says once you've been issued? Let's find out. Might just be a big ole' ZERO but we'll see. Gotta go click.

yeah right. Umm is anyone else having problems with bloglines taking forever to load? Is there another bloglines similar site? NOt that I really want to switch but this has been going on for days and it's aggravating!

Maybe by this weekend. I'm really hoping for Thursday or Friday but I'm being patient. What else can I be?

So I finished the sleeve on the cable pullover. Here are some bad bathroom shots, double chin, contortion shots. I did actually clean the mirror for you though. The sleeve doesn't pull like it looks like it does. It's from trying to take a pic of the sweater and not the camera. Anyway here are the two best of the pics I took. I think I'm really going to like this sweater when it's all done. It may actually fit too!

I've been working on a couple of other projects too off and on. No pics cuz they are pressies for Christmas but one is almost all done. Lacking one sleeve and a hood...
