And you thought I fell off the face of the earth

I quit blogging for awhile. Could you tell? Did you really care? :)

I may have stopped the blogging but I didn't quit the knitting. Started up some crocheting too. I'll get pictures up one of these years and let you see what's floating around the house. As usual I have multiple things started and not that many finished.

I've spent the last few days catching up on bloglines and decided it was time that I got back on here. It seems that I've missed out on alot in good ole' blogland.

Life was crazy for awhile and we needed a kick in the pants to slow us down. We got one that's for sure.

School started, college started for me, football started, soccer started, work never stopped.

Bring on a broken femur with bone cyst, compartment syndrome, 5 surgeries and 2 1/2 weeks in the hospital for the 10 year old son....

Life has ceased to exist as we knew it. It is crazy but we haved slowed down. No more football, no more college right now, finally getting back to work. Finally home... Schedules are still wonky but we are hanging in there.

The outpouring of love and concern and help from friends and family have been wonderful and we genuinly appreciate every bit of it.

So I have decided that I need to back in the knitting community that inspires me as well. The projects, the lives of everyone else that I just love to sit and read what's going on. I don't comment alot but I've caught up on quite a few stories. There have been moves and marriages, divorces and babies, ups and downs; helps me know I'm not alone.

So anyway, welcome back me!

Now it's time to sit back, wait for my Ravelry invite (can't believe I almost missed out on that!) and start posting again.

YAY! You're back!!

We're a few weeks away from what I hope to be the LAST move - closing is 2 weeks from today. Been swamped, but nothing compared to your world these days.... I am very happy it has slowed enough to let you come back to us in blogland!!
